Become a Member

Joining AACUSS is a great way to connect with other student affairs & services professionals throughout the Atlantic region. It's easy to join - simply fill in the membership application here. Once a member, you will enjoy access to our newsletter, AACUSS Talks and stay up to date on the field in Atlantic Canada.

Participate in Divisions

AACUSS members enjoy the opportunity to join divisions. AACUSS divisions communicate through list serves and often have regional meet-ups. The first step to getting involved with AACUSS is to become an active member in your division. You can see details about the divisions here and update your division choices on your membership profile. Find your Divisional Representative on the Executive Contact page here.

Attend PD & Conference

AACUSS hosts various professional development (PD) opportunities throughout the year. Some of these events & activities are open to all members and are posted online for members to register. Other opportunities are organized within divisions and advertised to members of those groups. AACUSS hosts an annual conference in the spring of each year. The conference is an excellent opportunity to learn more about best / emerging practices and network with others in the student affairs & services field. Presenting at the Conference is a great experience for many members each year. Watch for the call for proposals in the winter of each year.

Join the Executive

Executive positions are held by AACUSS members who volunteer their time to work on the goals set out by the association. When the term of an executive position is ending, a call for nominations is put out to the membership. Current members who wish to express interest in an executive position should contact the Past-President for more details. More information on the role of Executive members can be found in the Executive Guidebook.
